Lyrics
Little Bird
There you sit, you little bird
With song so sweet, how are you singing?
Don’t you know war’s broke out
So many lost and crying
Yesterday we shared the world
But hatred bloomed and found its purchase
Trading peace for murder
Learning banes and curses
Some things makes no sense to me
Warriors and tanks to name just two
They must come from somewhere
But I know not from you
Do you know anger? We sure do.
And jealously, greed and grudges too
We make with them our future
Though we could sing with you
There you sit, you little bird
With song so sweet, how are you singing?
Don’t you know that war’s broke out
So many lost and dying
Is our world like your world
It seems we’re on a different planet
Though we share the sun and rain,
Yours is beauty, ours is tragic.
